KEENMOMMY GOES FLOATING!

When I started this blog, I hoped and wished that it would spread awareness to anyone suffering from cancer or going through the similar experiences that I went through. It’s been almost three full years now since my most recent radical neck dissection. In total, I’ve had 3 neck surgeries. After going through these, I have daily aches and strains in the left side of my neck to be particular. It feels as though I’ve been to the dentist and have had major freezing prior to having a tooth extraction or having a cavity filled or repaired. It’s a sensation that many may not be able to understand, but to me it’s a constant and I’m always looking for ways to deal with it.

My current modes of treatment that I use right now are physiotherapy and massage with a registered massage therapist. Lucky for me, I have really great insurance benefits that can help me manage the costs. If I didn’t have these benefits, my wallet would be a lot less full. 🙂 Health and wellness is truly important to me, and I am trying to do everything in my power to stay on top of it. I am however, still on a mission to find more ways to heal myself and relax.

As a blogger, I have learned that there is a world of opportunities that are connected to my writing. Not only have I met so many wonderful mommy and daddy bloggers, I have been introduced to a wealth of knowledge to which I can use in a positive way.

Last week, I was given the opportunity visit Float Sense in Burnaby, B.C. Located just minutes from Highway 1, this business provides a wealth of wellness and healing to all. I couldn’t pass this opportunity up and so, I booked my appointment and I am so glad I did.

Float Sense hosted their grand opening last week. They offer warm and hospitable service. My float was 90 minutes long. It was quiet and relaxed. What I loved about the place was that it was so serene. Once you walk in the doors, you are immediately surrounded by a sense of peace. Definitely an experience I will not forget. I don’t think this is going to be my first float as I’d like to experience more of the beneficial properties of floating. I’ve been told that sometimes the first experience isn’t as great as the subsequent experiences.

If you’d like to know more about this, please visit the Float Sense Website. I look forward to seeing what is in store for them in the future and you will be welcomed with open arms, for sure!

* Please, note this was not a paid post, however, I did receive a complimentary float session for my review. All the thoughts in this post are mine 🙂

HAPPY FLOATING!
